Keeping Current in Web Design Trends

I attended the "In Control Web Design Conference", in Orlando, Florida, a two-day conference on latest web theories and best practices. The workshops included discussions on the latest software and designer-friendly tools in coding, as well as trends in Web design. Specifically, what as designers, can do to enhance the users experience, from laptops to mobile devices.   All very interesting and exciting ideas.
